VOICES OF CHANGE
STORY
When I was approached by the team at Voices of Change, I knew I could help them in their mission. As an organization that had won the Congressional Medal of Honor for their work in the poetry space, I was honored that they chose me to be the editor of their workbook.
DELIVERABLES
POETRY WORKBOOK
I worked closely with the two founders to take a high volume of material and turn it into a poetry workbook for their organization. I also organized a test poetry workshop so I could experience the way they taught in order to fully immerse myself in the way they wanted their book to be laid out. I also helped connect them to a designer who designed the cover of the book for them.
IMPACT
As an editor, I love working with mission-driven founders who have a clear vision of where they want to go with their work. I’ve worked with many authors as an editor and ghostwriter, and nothing gives me greater joy than seeing a project come together beautifully.
