I read $100M Money Models the month it came out in August 2025, because at this point Hormozi has earned day-one status in my reading life — a tier otherwise reserved for romantasy authors and Blake Crouch.

The premise, spoiler-free: an offer gives people a reason to buy, leads determine how many people ever hear about it, and a money model decides the order and structure in which you get paid, so that winning a customer funds finding the next one. Attraction offers, upsells, downsells, continuity: this is the machinery underneath businesses that grow without borrowing.

Sounds dry, right? That’s the trick. Hormozi’s superpower is taking CFO-grade concepts and breaking them down so simply you get suspicious, and his most technical book might also be his most readable.

What I Loved About $100M Money Models by Alex Hormozi

The compression. Every model gets a name, a plain-language explanation, and a worked example with real numbers, and complex ideas keep arriving in sentences a tired freelancer can absorb. If you run any business (even a business of exactly one writer), the reframe from “how much did I make” to “how fast does a customer pay back the cost of finding them” is worth the cover price several times over.

It also made me re-evaluate my own setup, which is the highest compliment I can pay a business book. I priced Write for Money and Power at $0.99 on purpose — accessibility was the whole point — and that choice is a money model: the book is the front door, and readers who want more find their way to my newsletter and everything else I make. Watching Hormozi name machinery I’d been running on instinct was deeply satisfying.

What I Didn’t Love About $100M Money Models

The vocabulary stacks up fast. By the back half you’re juggling a full deck of named offer types, and the examples still lean toward businesses with teams and ad budgets. Solo writers will do some translation (same as with the other two books), and this one rewards a second pass with a notebook.

Final Thoughts on $100M Money Models

Read the trilogy in order: $100M Offers for what you sell, $100M Leads for how people find it, and this one for how the money compounds. Then open your own pricing page and have a long, honest look at it. I definitely recommend this one to any business owner ready to re-evaluate how they work.

My final score: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do I recommend this book? 👍 Yes — best read after the first two.
